Daily Vows: Marriage & Family ("Daily Vows", "we") is made by The Next Gen AI Co, Mission, Texas, USA. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions? Email info@mail.thenextgenaico.com.

What we collect

• Account information: your name and email address, and your sign-in method, handled by our sign-in provider, Clerk.
• What you write in the app: your daily question answers, appreciation notes, Connection Style Quiz answers, date ratings, and family challenge progress.
• Your spouse link: if you link accounts, we store that link so you can see each other's shared answers and notes.
• AI coach messages: when you use the coach, the messages in that conversation are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to write a reply. We do not save coach conversations on our servers. We only count how many messages you send each week to apply the free limit.
• Basic settings: your time zone, so "today's question" matches your day.
• Purchases: if you become a member, payment is handled by Google Play or Stripe. We receive a record that you have a membership. We never see your full card number.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your information.
• We don't show ads or share your information with advertisers.
• We don't use your answers or notes to train AI models.

Who can see your information

• Your linked spouse sees your daily answer (only after they answer too), notes you send them, your shared date history, and your quiz result after you both finish.
• Service providers that run the app for us: Clerk (sign-in), Upstash (database), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (AI coach replies), and Google Play / Stripe (payments). They may only use your information to provide their service to us.
• We may share information if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety.

Children

Daily Vows is for adults 18 and older. Kids don't create accounts or use the app themselves — parents read questions and ideas to them. Please don't enter personal details about your children in the app.

How long we keep it

Daily answers are kept for about 13 months so you can look back. Other information is kept while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your information from our database right away; backups held by our providers are cleared within 30 days.

Your choices

• Delete your account any time in the app: More → Delete account. Or see how to delete your account.
• Unlink from your spouse any time: More → Your spouse → Unlink.
• Ask for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing us.

Security

Information is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and stored with providers that encrypt data at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect and who can access it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and tell you in the app if the change is important.
